Daclatasvir is a direct-acting antiviral that inhibits NS5A, a hepatitis C virus protein needed for viral replication and assembly.
It was approved in the European Union and the United States for chronic hepatitis C virus infection in combination with sofosbuvir, with or without ribavirin.
