Antiretrovirals
Gómez NV, et al. · Viruses · 2012
Reported: Zidovudine plus lamivudine gave a larger fall in viral load than zidovudine alone. Both zidovudine-based protocols raised the CD4+/CD8+ ratio.
Kim J, et al. · Viruses 15(4):822 · 2023
Reported: The combination normalised neutrophil counts by week 16 compared with placebo, but did not significantly reduce blood viraemia. Dolutegravir plasma levels were the most stable of the three drugs.
Santos CRGR, et al. · Brazilian Journal of Veterinary Medicine 44:e003522 · 2022
Reported: Viral RNA became undetectable in both cats. Proviral DNA fell in one cat and became undetectable in the other. No adverse effects were reported.
Silva e Silva F · Doctoral thesis, Universidade Federal de Pelotas · 2017
Reported: Raltegravir for 21 days was well tolerated, but plasma viral load was not suppressed and CD4+ counts did not rise. The author could not establish in vivo antiviral activity.
