Short answer
Adalimumab is a TNF-alpha inhibitor monoclonal antibody used for rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, plaque psoriasis and other immune-mediated diseases. Towada Products exports it from New Delhi, India, supplying Adalirel, Exemptia and Mabura in the 40mg strength to licensed buyers abroad. Pricing is on enquiry.
Adalimumab is a fully human monoclonal antibody that binds tumour necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha), a signalling protein that drives inflammation in many immune-mediated diseases.
It is approved for rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, plaque psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa and non-infectious uveitis, in adults and, for several of these, in children. The originator brand is Humira, and many biosimilars, including Indian biosimilars, are approved.
Adalimumab is given by subcutaneous injection from a prefilled syringe or pen and is stored refrigerated at 2°C to 8°C, so shipments travel in temperature-controlled packaging. Biosimilar and originator brands are separate products, and patients are usually kept on one brand, so state the brand you need. Before treatment patients are screened for tuberculosis and hepatitis B. Etanercept and infliximab, the other TNF inhibitors in our catalog, and tofacitinib are also listed. Tell us the strength, device and quantity when you enquire.
Adalimumab is a prescription medicine, and whether it is suitable for a patient is a decision for the treating doctor. This page describes the medicine for trade buyers; it is not medical advice.
